Ignition issue

Hi I’m new to this seadoo form but I own a 2006 4tec seadoo rxp and when I put the key on the ignition no power to the ignition for 30seconds to a couple of minutes I Checked my batter it is good it was replaced at the end of last summer was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem, thanks

Does it go ahead and engage after that wait period?

Does it have a post that you put the key on? If so there is a trick. Took me years to figure it out and it was so, so simple. The new ones are much better, but the old post versions require you to put the key on the post a certain way. Not straight on. You put the key on from the bottom up. So you approach the post with the key pointing up towards the sky at about a 45 degree angle to the post than push it forward, up and on. I hope this makes sense.

So after a couple of hours of reading through the form I saw to just take a wet paper towel and clean both the inside of the key and the male part it attaches to and that seem to simply fix it

Some time it would just magically come to life but I seem to have fixed it now thank
