iBR 2021 Wakepro 230 Help

My step kids sucked up a bunch of rocks, 2 were wedged in the impeller.

After googling I decided to tackle the job of removing them, which i successfully did. The wear ring was scored a bit and impeller had a few nicks on it. I will have that replaced at the end of the year.

Unfortunately being my first time doing any work on it I didn't take pictures of how the venturi and VTS and iBR was all bolted together. I put it back together the way I thought it was and took it out for a spin.... got an ibr code on the dash, didn't have brakes or reverse and water was spraying up behind while I was driving it.

Usually I take pictures before removing anything that im doing for the first time but it "seemed" straight forward.....obviously not.

I purchased an online repair service manual thinking it spuld have a diagram and it didn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.. I'll attach pictures as well.. go ahead and roast me for being an idiot as well...lol. I deserve it..

I've never worked on one but it sure looks like that angle is bad and that would spray water upwards. Question is, is that the setting for the trim (if you have trim) or something is assembled incorrectly? That nozzel should be near parallel to the center of thrust on the jet pump. I'd look at whatever is keeping the nozzle from parallel as the first issue. I sure like the mechanical stuff on the 2-strokes. Reverse is a manual lever. :D Good Luck.

The VTS ring is on backwards. You need to rotate it 180 degrees left to right. Top and bottom are pointing the right way. I hope this makes sense.

Here are some pics.
