hi there! i need some advice! i have just replaced my 06 215 challenger SC with the 08 kit! well when i put it back in the water i for the first time it ran great!.... well until i got on it! lol... i seemed to have left a clamp loose on the intercooler after i winterized it! ooops!, well i havent change the plugs or the oil yet, i wanted to run it for a day and get it warmed up and then change all of it! well when i got on it i blew the line off the back of the cooler and it fell under the motor! so i got a over heat light and the boat went into limp mode! YIKES!!!! i want far from the dock so i opend the engine comp and poured water on the exhast! i shut it down for a few min and started it back up and got it to go maybe a hundred feet until the alarm went back off, so i shut it down and did the same thing! after pouring a bunch of water on it i got it back and out of the water! after a little inspection i noticed ALOT of water in the hull! one thing let to another an i found the line and fixed it! it was scarry to see that hapen! but after i fixed it i put it back in the water. i ran the boat for about 2 or 3 hours with out a problem! i have even noticed a better top speed at 7000 with the new SC kit! so what do you guys think i should do now that i have overheated the motor???? thanx for your help!
