hi there! i ran out of oil on my seadoo challenger single engine 787. and it left some scratch on the sleeve due to lack of oil, my question is ,will the boat still ran if i put oil on the reservoir? or will i need to rebuild the motor? thanks

Fix the oil thing first.

Put the proper oil in the oil tank. Pressure the oil tank with just a few PSI,3
I believe. Then open the bleeder screw at the oil injection pump. Once the air
is out close the bleeder screw.

How do You know if there are scratches in the Bore? Did You remove the
Cylinder head? Are You looking thru the plug hole? Either way, run a compression test. Below 80 or 90 PSI = Rebuild 90 to 120 = weak. 150 is best.

Run some tests and post some pictures, Let us know what You find.

Hard to say.

Right now, mix the fuel in your tank at 50:1, then fill the oil tank, and bleed it. (no pressure is needed.

Once you get oil in the engine... check the compression. If it still shows 135 psi or better... you will be fine. (until the big end bearings let go)

cylinder head.

yah i removed the cylinder head, and i turn the pto to move the pistons etc. and i saw some scratch just on one cylinder block, the other one looks like in great condition. / the oil filter tho is empty, means no oil goes to the cylinder. i'm just so stupid not to put oil on the reservoir because i saw that there were still half inch of oil inside it so i ignored it.
the oil inside is green in color, wonder what kind is it????
