I need a pop-off tester

Should be easy to make. Can someone tell me how to make it and what parts I will need to buy?

I did a search on the forum but cannot seem to find it so I wonder if I am spelling it wrong (popoff, pop off, pop-off) or if it is really called something else.

Ebay search found a Mikuni brand tester, but they want $70. Saw others for much cheaper, but not sure if they are compatible.

I did it again, just searching for pop, pop off, and pop-off and results found any time. Even "pop off/leak" the way the title of the thread is written, didn't pop up this thread...

Going to hardware store to build one today! Should be under $20 alltogether.

I can use this for other tests, as well (thnx to Timmy for reminding me :cheers. What pressure gauge should I get to cover all the tests I can use it for?

ranges from 0-30, 0-60, and 0-100. I am guessing the 60 will give me a good range while still being semi-accurate on the dial...

Well, answered my own questions...hardware store only had the 0-100 psi gauge.

All parts cost just a touch over $19, and I made it with a longer pipe nipple so I had something I could work with one hand, operating the valve with my thumb while the rest of the device was firmly planted in my hand.

so im guessing the hose on the end with the barb fitting is what goes into the carb. do you just shove the tube in it? ill prob put a valve stem fitting on the air inlet side. anyone else do this?
