I was riding the HX and at least 1 of the rubber dampers in the drive shaft couplings came apart. There are some yellow chunks in the bottom of the hull. I have purchased 2 new red dampers and I wanted to post here to see if anyone can give me any advise before I start the replacement job.

I am thinking I wii have to:
1) remove the pump
2) remove the shock and
3) remove the mid bearing and coupler assembly
4) remove the fuel tank
5l remove the front coupling

Any short cuts? Any advice?

Even though your not removing the engine, it wouldn’t not hurt to check engine alignment with the tool while it’s out.

Can you help me find a video or post on how to align the motor on my HX after installing all new motor mounts? Thanks!
