Good morning all,
I'm from NJ and needless to say we got hit. Real bad. My house is on the water and the water surged 10 feet above normal level and got about 4 feet above the bulkhead. The drain plugs were out of my challenger and GTI ski. They did not float away but they filled with water. I'm sure water got into the hulls. We were not allowed into the shore area until only a few days ago. I filed claims for both the boat and ski. The insurance adjuster is coming next Saturday. Can someone give me some tips on what to tell the adjuster, because visually nothing looks wrong. I'm sure there is severe damage in those engines and to the wires. What are the damages and other things I should look for after salt water rose into the hull and sat for about a day? I was told not to touch or clean anything until the adjuster came. Thanks in advance.
