hi i got a 2008 seadoo rxp with no decals or numbers from a police auction. i dont know if its a 155hp or 215hp or even if its supercharged how can i tell what it is. and if it has a supercharger. sounds dumb i know lol but im new to this

Not True, there are 155 RXPs also and they are identical except for the SC and IC and the decals that say 215. Just look the back of the motor just left of center and you will see a large 1 foot diameter sc with two large 3" hoses attached, one comes out of center, one comes out the side and goes to the throttle body.

If you can take a pic of the motor, we can tell you in 2 seconds exactly what it is.

I think the 155 RXPs were only for a couple years around 07 and 08, as I recall they were the red with the big RXP decal that was even on the outside of the footwell, maybe yellow ones too, can't remember. I wish Seadoo would have given it a different name, RXP should have been reserved for high performance imo.

photos

here are some pics there seems to be a 3 inch hose off back of motor goes into a alloy box type thing with another hose out the side coming out under the seat, its on opposite side to the ecu and injection manifold

yep, no sc there. you have a 155 RXP.

also, another easy way to tell is that the throttle body is in the front instead of the rear.

you still have a nice machine, and very reliable. how much did you pay for it? if you don't mind me asking. just curious what the market is like in New Zealand.
