Recommended oil 2008 RXT 215 - Recommendations have changed

I see that BRP oil change kits are now full synthetic. I was of the understanding that wet clutches cannot use synthetic oil. Yet, the dealer only has Seadoo XPS full synesthetic kits available.
My machine is 2008, has a SC rebuild 2 years ago (BRP dealer installed). Is it a mistake to use the synthetic kit the dealer sold me? I'm not sure this will be an issue or not, but the kit states it is good for all engines including turbo and supercharged.
To add to this, the rebuild kit used to rebuild my supercharger after 100 hrs is the same as used in the newest machines.
I see a lot of conflicting information on this, but its older opinions. I wanted to get a 2024 view on this even though my machine is a 2008 vintage.
Thanks for your comments/advice on this topic.

New to PWC ownership dont know squat about’em in terms of maintenance. Powerboat (offshore) owner all my adult life. Anyway, got twin ‘08 Wake 215’s with dual trailer and extras, bit I know in the twin mega HP world of offshore go-fasts this standard vs synthetic argument has raged for years. Engineers in the petroleum industry will simply say synthetic is for the lazy oil changers because it lasts longer, but OBTW todays standard oils dont break down like pap-paws oil did in the day and is good for 5-8k miles easily.

Sorry to dig up an older thread but I have a 2010 Wake Pro with the updated supercharger clutch and twice I have ordered the semi-synthetic SeaDoo oil change kit and twice I have been given the full synthetic kit. Once was from an Amazon seller I used previously to get the kit and the second time was from another company. Both were advertised as the semi-synthetic kits. I don't think the semi-synthetic kit is available anymore even though it is still listed on the Seadoo site. I am following up with the other company now to see what they say.

I am worried that using the wrong oil will cause problems with the supercharger.

Pretty sure you’re right the semi is no longer available as current stock. In 2017 BRP updated their operators manual for other oils and deleted the semi restriction to any oil made for wet motorcycle clutches. On the bottle of the new full synthetic it states for all 1503 and 1630 engines which even includes pre 2017 engines.

I followed up with the vendor and they said the synthetic blend part number has been superseded by the full synthetic and is no longer available. I need a supercharger rebuild at the end of this season so I will see what the clutches look like then. I am wondering if there will be a change the the boost delivery. I am guessing not but I will report back if anything unusual happens.

No issues using synthetic oil with clutches, even motorcycles as long as it is the correct oil.
You don't want anything with the energy conserving star on the back as that can cause clutch issues. Typically you want a MA or MA2 certified oil for wet clutch compatibility.
