I´m doing a resto on my sportster. The hull had a previous accident so a big piece of the rubrail was missing. The boat is going in a blue/black color sceme but the (very rare I think!?) complete rubrail I found on ebay was purple.
So I´ve plasticpainted it and I´m about to reinstal.
I´m absolutly sure I´ve read somewhere that you should use som special screws instead of rivets when instaling the base rub rail.
Please help. have been searching for two hour and can`t find it
