Hello all this is my first post here, actualy it is my first post to any forum...HA welcome to the 90's.

I have an 07 Islandia with twin rotax motors. Since day one I noticed that there is a good amount of white smoke when throttling out of the hole. It is clean white smoke no blue or black tint at all. Should I be concerned? I have been using this boat for 2 going on 3 seasons and have somewhere in the 100 hour range I' m guessing. There has been no loss of performance that I have noticed.

Any thoughts?

is this a stupid question? no responses would tell me one of two things, it is a stupid question or no one knows. I thought this was the place for all things Sea Doo!

Oil change at the beginning of each season and I just installed new plugs and set the gap to the specs in the book. I am not all that worried about it but would like to hear from other owners if they see the same thing, a nice cloud of clean white smoke that comes out of each exhaust port the exact same amount and dissipates after it gets blown away at about 25 mph.

I have the 2 storke 720cc and they smoke a lot when i first turn it on when i launch it but once it gets warmed up i don't get hardly any smoke; now i have 2 stroke and you have 4 stroke so not sure about your boat just letting you know that mine does smoke also

Are you sure it's smoke and not condensation.
White smoke or water vapor from the exhaust. You notice white smoke coming from the exhaust when you start your boat. If it is cold out, this may be normal. If the smoke does not disappear after the boat is warmed, you have a problem.

It's probably just steam. Keep in mind that water is injected into the exhaust stream.

Must be steam. I took it out this weekend and noticed that the "smoke" doesn't smell like smoke when I circle around and go back thou it. Thanks for the help!
