How long does the XPS 2t oil last for?

I am sending my motor out to get rebuilt next week and will probably get it back sometime mid august. Anyways I topped off the oil last november before winterizing and have not burned any since. Would that be acceptable to use or would you suggest I empty the tank and lines and start with a fresh batch?

It will last indefinitely if kept clean and water out of it.

I am still using a bottle form the 90's as premix in rebuilt engines.
