How long does it take for the Hour meter to change?

I have a 2007 Sea Doo Challenger and I am concerned that the Hour meter may not be working properly. So far, it has only advanced one hour since I began using the boat this season. I have been out on the lake many times. What is the formula that I can expect? Otherwise, I would need to have some component replaced. Right?

Well......if you are out an hour...It should advance an hour..lol. Every 6 minutes is a tenth.

Most of the 07s have faulty hour meters. My mechanic told me none of them are accurate.

I have an 07. Until I went in for the 10 hour service, I only had 1 hour on the meter. They had an update for the hour meter and it immediately jumped to over 20. Now, it seems to work fine.
