Ok my luck of course. i was out on lake huron the other day with around 6-7 foot waves. i was screwing around launching myself off the waves GETTING SOME PRETTY CRAZY AIR!!!! Then on one of the last waves i hit i came down sideways on top of another wave and BANG it slammed really hard and broke off the plastic trim tab on one side the hull all that is left is the bolt sticking out and i cant figure out how to reinstall this stupid thing there seems to be no way for me to pull out the old bolts and if i do how do i reinstall a new tab please help im tired of leaning to the right to balance it out its gettin old any ideas

are you talking about the sponsons?

UMMM yeah i think that is what seadoo calls them they are the plastic tabs om the rear sides of the hull one of them broke off and i cant figure out how to get the other one on or even get the old bolts out. I just got this ski and its new to me soooo any ideas

your going to have to remove the battery on the one side and the water box on the other to replace them. the foam has to be cut out as well. if they are the same as mine then the bolts were molded into the sponsons correct?

i would assume but the one that broke left all the bolts in the hull but the other one has no visible bolt so anyway thats great i have to cut the foam then it was the left one that broke off so thats the water box side thanks man i wish i had a manual to do this and this little POS costed me 75 bucks to buy do you have a guide to do it that could be downloaded

could you post a picture of where it broke? also, a picture of the inside of the hull by the waterbox would be great so i could describe where to cut the foam. what cost you 75, one sponson?

Ill try to post a pic but im at work right now anyway yeah through my local dealer the sponson is 75 bucks so i think im gonna get a used one from the pwc salvage yard near me. And as for checking the manual i would love to but i dont have one i bought the ski used and dont want to pay for a manual i know i know i am very cheap but hey that can be a good thing in life. thanks guys and im assuming that i just cut out the foam inline with the sponson but if im wrong correcft me .
