Hours on a 4 tec

I persoanlly own a 2004 gtx 4 tec with 45 hours bought it two months ago and love it. My buddy has the bug to buy now and has found a 2003 gtx 4 tec with 185 hours on it says its maintianced every year and winterized.The guy lives on a lake so there for I'm sure it got used. As long as you maintain it and dont run them full bore all the time they should run into upper hundreds of hours right? When looking for a used one where do you decided yeah thats to many hours?

I have seen 450+ hrs on well maintained skis but it's still a role of the dice you never kno when something can go wrong

Just make sure everything works and water test it If it checks out good, do a compression test on the engine. I wouldnt be afraid of 185 hours at all if it all checks out.
