If your talking about the Islandia, then it may already have one. I would think so anyway. I know the hours are stored in the MPEM and a service person could get them. I can't believe on the newer model, there is no hour meter.
You could get any type meter and connect it to your electrical system. So that any time it's powered up, it keeps the time. You could connect it to the ignition system, which would only run when the motor itself was running....:cheers:
