Hot wire to test Please help! thanks all!

First of all Thank you guys for being here, I am new to pwc's and am learning fast but I have a strong background in mechanical electrical between my WRX and Honda 4 wheeler. I Just bought a 97 Seadoo, they lost the key before they sold it to me, I've hot wired the started to make sure it was not locked up before I bought it. But I want to test run it before I spend money having it keyed, is there a way to hot wire start it b4 getting an actual key?

What model is it? Some can, and some can't.

If you already bought it... you should just go to a dealer and have a new lanyard programmed.

Easiest to get a new key at the dealer, when you put on a older lanyard/key the panel stays on 30 seconds then everything tuens off to save the battery for the real owner to come along, if it is a boat the white lite will stay on.
