What should I do to the black hoses attached to each OPAS? I’m blocking the system a d can’t quite figure what to do with these. What are they for anyway?

Alrighty- I'm leaving this post because there is limited info and video for removing the OPAS system off my 2003 Sea Doo GTX and close to nothing about the water hoses attached to it. I have the Riva Racing instructions but they might as well be written in Greek when it comes to the hoses attached to OPAS paddles. There is a Shop Manual for My GTX which tells in detail how to remove and what to do about the hoses. Jet pump system is supposed to be removed to get to the valve to remove. Wish me luck ;-)

I downloaded the instructions from Riva. It shows what you have to do with those hoses, you have to plug them as in the diagrams. I couldn't find a lot of videos that show that, but there are some out there that show the removal of the OPAS and installing the plates at least.

I could not tell where the Riva pictures were taken. Now I get it - the repair manual was helpful locating which was inside hull where pump was.

Okay...I assumeyou have things well in hand,,,I just did my first opas tube replacement,,,huge learning curve,,,lets us know...I can help you.

I didn't realize the pictures were near the rear outside of the ski - female brain. Everything is apart - just need some Blue Threadlock and I will be done.

BTW - The RIVA RACING instructions are spot on for this.
