As a proud owner of a 2001 Utopia I can say that you are all right! Vinyl and tunes are great but $18k??!! I thought spending $254 for the OEM rear seats in my boat was steep!!

I like the color and graphics on the outside but I also think the seats look cheap- too much looseness in the vinyl.

So heres the deal: I will sell my 01 Utopia with $254 original replacement rear seats and a $99 cheeseball stereo from West Marine for $15999!! Order before midnight today! Limited time offer! No tire kickers!

Jesus that drives me nutzzz why do people always think that when they buy a; boat, car, bike etc... and dump a bunch of money into it they will get back in the end when they go to sell it. I don't go to purchase a car and say hey its got 100,XXX miles but who cares he put new tires and wheels on I will give you $500.00 over KBB b/c I am a moron. These are toys not investments maybe he should have spent less on the seats and more on an IRA. This guy is out of his mind to tell someone he bought the boat for $18,000 and in turn try to sell it for the same price after he drove the piss out of it. Who buys used boats for 2nd owner price, please.....sorry I had to go off there.
