high speed screw settings

i have a 95 seadoo XP 717 model 5857 !
i have an OEM manual for it ...... i was cleaning the carbs on it an the high speed screws were set to the fully closed position with the plastic caps on them . i removed caps and high speed screws to clean carbs an returned them back to fully closed position on assembly !!!
the manual does not say what the high speed screws are suppose to be set at to start out with!!!

it just dident seem like they should be fully closed to me !!!

where should the high speed screws be set at before the plastic caps are reinstalled ???

Well, how does it run with them fully closed? If it was like that b4, and it ran good, id keep it the way it is

your low should be at 1-3/4, and high at 0
