high rmp runs perfect, low rpm hesitate, stall..any idea ?

got new plugs, fresh fuel.
as long as i keep it above 4k its golden.
below that and on take offs, hesitate, stall.

How long has it been since you rebuilt/cleaned out the carbs?

This is common problem on gummed up carbs, or having the low-speed screw set wrong. I used to have this problem, and had to sorta pump the throttle to get it over the hump. Rebuilt and set the screws correctly, and no problem anymore.
