High Idle

I have a 1995 Speedster. The left engine idles at 3500-4000 rpm when throttle is fully disengaged. How can I adjust this problem? Thanks

in or out of the water?

Out of the water it should be around 3000, in the water it should be 1500.

On the mag carb, there is a screw with a little "T" handle by the throttle cable. Give that a tweak to adjust the speed.


BUT... if this happened all of the sudden, I would look for the reason why.
