I am new to Seadoo forum and never owned Seadoos before. I found a pair of GTI 2003's in great shape in Florida over Christmas and decided to buy them and ship them down to Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos Islands just south of the Bahamas. I am building a new house directly on the beach in a shallow bay which is generally very calm as it is protected from the prevailing wind and of course we manage 345 days plus of sunshine every year. These ski's came from the great lakes so at least I have a head start on corrosion. I have some technical help questions which I will post under the 2 stroke section. I appreciate the knowledge and advice of other members, fortunately I have a very well equipped shop because most mechanics down here have a 2 pound hammer and it will fit! So I say get the right advice before you start and fix it yourself properly.

Welcome! My brother and his wife just got back from there. They vacation there about once a year...
