2 years ago, I found my challenger 1800 cylinders filled with oil. Took it to a shop and had both cranks replaced, went to take it out today and found one of the engines has oil in the cylinders again. I have only taken the boat out a hand full of times since having the engines rebuilt. Not happy!!!

Pull the plugs and crank the oil out. Then instal a shut off valve on the oil line. After two years you just know they won't care and put it all in you. They make a solenoid based valve that works off the DESS. That way you don't have to remember to turn the valve on and off.

Quick question, when I was trying to use the shop vac to get the oil out, I noticed that only the rear cylinder had oil in it. I know both had filled up when I had the cranks replaced. Could it possibly be the RV shaft seal that is bad and not the center crank seal?

Possibly.

It's not trivial to change the RV seal... but it's not that hard either. Regardless... it's worth a try.
