Hi everybody, i am new to seadoos, i have taken my rxt 2012 to greece with us, its only done 8 hrs, was fine yesterday playing with ringo on the back for about a hour, stopped at beach, anchored of shore for about 1.5 hr, went to have a blast and the engine started fine, went to pull off and very bad engine vibration like a suddering on pulling the throttle? can go 4mph and when trying to go faster its like the engine reving fine and boost comes in and all normal but with a vibration and no drive apart for the 4-5mph no matter how fast the engine, has anybody else ever had this problem or now what it is. as we on holiday i and dont want to just sit and look at it as is great fun when right. please help. is this a easy fix as i am quite able if needed.?? thanks for reading..

Off hand i'd say you have something caught in your tunnel....stick most likely. With ski off...see if you can reach under and feel anything around the grate. If not...pull the ski outa the water and check under ski..into tunnel..in front of prop, maybe....or caught up in the pump itself.

Yup. Sounds like you picked something up in the tunnel or into the prop. Mine did the same thing - low idle fine but the minute I tried to accelerate it shimmy'd and shook. I got lucky and whatever was in mine spit out after a few minutes and everything was fine. Get it out of the water and get underneath it and see what's up in there.

thank you very much
