I recently purchased a 2022 Sea Doo Switch and when I took the switch out I could not get it to shift to neutral or reverse. Has anyone ever heard of this issue? The dealership has no idea how to fix.

Nope. No error code it just won’t shift to neutral or reverse

Need to scan the ECU with budds or candoo to see if there are any inactive IBR codes. Inactive codes won't display. oddly a dead ibr should throw the ibr error on the screen.
Have seen the issue with newer sparks "same ibr system" the ibr had to be replaced. The ski had no codes either. Betting the IBR is dead.
Its under warranty so let the dealer dig in, unfortunately.

I would check the basics before it goes back - IBR fuse. Voltage, loose connections.
Make sure the reverse gate is not bound up.
Small chance the lever control is not sending signal back.
