I HAVE A 97SP WITH A 720 ENGINE , THE PROBLEM IS ,WHEN I TAKE OFF IT IS STRONG WHEN IT STARTS TO BREAK PLAIN IT FALLS ON IT FACE LIKE NO GAS BUT DON'T DIE .NOW FOR THE STRANGE PART , IT HAS A GOOD STREAM OF WATER COMING OUT OF WEEEP HOLE (PEE HOLE) BUT WHEN THE ENGINE LOSES POWER I CAN HEAR THE PEE HOLE SUCKING AIR AND NO WATER ,ITS SUCKING BACK INTO EXGHAUST, I GUESS ! I PRETTY SURE IT GOT HOT LAST SUMMER ,BEEPER DID'NT WORK .I HAVE REPLACED THE FUEL LINES ,EXCEPT VENT LINES AND PULSE LINE .REDONE CARB . hOPE I COVERED EVERYTHING ANY ?? JUST ASK . Your cooling water is feed via your jet pump, so the system is pressurized. If you have suction at the pee-hole... something is very wrong. AND... if you are overheating to the point of power loss... then you will have engine damage.

It only over heated once last summer has not since .I ran it prolly 30mins this morning it does not over heat. has good compression don't understand why it takes off like it suppose to then just go down to just idle even I don't let trottle go. I can let off hit it again and do same thing.
