Hi, have had my eye on a 2001 SeaDoo GTX RFI with 34.3 total hours in Atlanta, GA. This was a trade in at the dealer and they are looking for $3000 plus tax before haggling. That price doesn't include a trailer. I am going out to the lake tomorrow to do a test ride and make sure everything works properly, etc. Anybody recently bought one of these recently or know of a realistic price to offer. This will be my first ski.

Thanks in advance,

Schwimm

Dealer prices are always high, but I would offer them "booK" price for it, since I can guaranty that they bought it for the "Book trade-in" price.

With watercraft... Low hours doesn't mean a thing. In some ways... it's worse than normal hours. since the engine internals are wet... there can be corrosion. The only good thing about low hours is that the ski will look nice if it was kept in a garage.

I'm buying that exact Seadoo from a friend. It has 91 hrs, and it comes with a Shorelandr trailer. The Seadoo is in very good condition. $1700
