Can someone help finding the the little rubber piece that the gas tank vent line goes to next to the hood latch pin. It's the rubber cup thing that seals against the bottom of the hood. No. #49 maybe? Also, the check valve that goes there let's air come in right? Thanks

The piece that you're asking about is really just a rubber grommet, try looking at a hardware store, if you can't find something that will work just use some silicone seal around the fitting.

Lou, it is shaped like a stopper and seals against the hood to keep water from going into the gas tank. You sure you realize the part I'm talking about? Not the Grommet that comes though the fiberglass itself. This piece slides over it.

Its discontinued according to all the parts sites. Guess I'll give him a shot.

At least pick up the phone and call a few surrounding dealers and check before throwing in the towel. One of them MIGHT just have one.

Ill do that to. Bout to head to the local honda/sea doo dealer and see my buddy in parts and get me a lanyard too.
