Help! 92 xp electrical.

I ****ed up. I bought a 92 xp with what I'm told is a 93 580 replacement engine. The mpem is in shambles and I'm getting no response from the starter. I've tried bypassing the buttons though I forgot to jump the starter. I'll be trying that tonight. Does anyone have a good picture of the inside of the mpem for a comparison? If it's not the starter what should I try next? Thank you all in advance!

Starter is good. So i started tracing wires with my manual open but I don't really follow it that well. Also found this switch... Not conected to anything but don't see where it should be. Any ideas?

That switch is something someone added. Either a bulge switch and maybe a kill switch of some kind.
