New to me sea-doo.. Worked fine on the sea trial. 1st day of ownership, hit the start button and hear "click" but engine doesn't turn over.. Checked battery voltage.. 12.0 VDC resting.. Ordered new AGM 28 AH battery and replaced old flooded cell battery. Same issue.. Sometimes it fires off first try, other times I have to hit the starter button 4 or 5 times before eninge will crank. The "click" noise I hear I'm assuming is the starter solenoid.. So is my starter on the way out?.. I also changed the oil and filter to castrol 10-40 mineral oil since the previous owner gave me three quarts of SYNTHETIC doo oil with the machine. I called and asked him if that was the oil in there now and he'd never heard of the ceramic clutch issue or that you shouldn't use synthetic in the SC engines. Do you think the clutch has been ruined by previous use of synthetic?.. It runs well and goes 62mph WOT.. Should I have the metal washers installed NOW? or can I make it through the summer.. It has 52 hours on it.. thanks.
