Help! 1997 xp

1997 Seadoo XP. Got fixed and took it to lake today. Ran about 30min. Started loosing power. Now it wont go past 20 mph, and exhaust is loud and deep like the carbs are loading up. Anyone had this problem before? If you let it sit about 20 minutes, it will run strong and fast out of the hole, then bogg down again after about 200 ft. With throttle pinned, 20 mph is all she'll do and no more. Stumped....any suggestionS? Trying to get to lake tomorrow

hook hose up to it, and fire it up, make sure theres no leaks from exhaust.

Have you done anything to it?

I haven't done anything aftermarket to it. Its all stock. I was just riding and noticed it started cuttin out on me and finally made it down to 20 mph and just holds steady at that speed with a major bogging deep exhaust sound.

My personal guess was to look in the carbs to start with. It idles great in or out of water. Just when i loads on it now it boggs and cuts out. Sounds to me like the carbs are loading up maybe??
