help 1990 bombardier gt key?

Hey guys I recently purchased a 1990 Seadoo Bombardier gt but the owner didn't have the key. I called around to different watersports facilities and nobody so far has the programming machine used to make another key. Do you guys have any recommendations?

Just get a regular key for it. No programming on that. Seadoo did not start the DESS system until mid 90's.

I like the OEM seadoo ones because they hold so much tighter on the older kill switch posts. The aftermarket ones are hit and miss and can pop off.

The OEM number is 278001431 and is still available for about $35.
