Im the new owner of a 1997 seadoo speedster. Took it out on the Colorado river today (Bullhead City AZ). Was really surprised how quick this boat is. Cant wait to do some fishing and have some fun with the family this season. I already used this forum to fix the floppy/loose port side throttle. Thanks for all the helpful info everybody! If anyone knows where I can find a hatch for rear rope box (on top of engine hatch), the info would be greatly appreiciated !

Probably going to be tough to find, maybe score a used one. Minnetonka4me might have one but these are few and far between.

How about making a temporary one from wood, or laminate of wood and fiberglass epoxy resin/cloth and paint it your choice?

Is this it by chance, if so, I just found it on eBay.

Thanks for looking out CoastieJoe. That's the front hatch. I am looking for the rear hatch. Figured it will be a long shot finding one. I have a buddy that's a pretty good woodworker. I think I may have him make a nice finished piece to permanently screw down. Just looking to fill it in so my kids don't get a foot caught in it

They're about as common as hens teeth. I've seen guys buy beat down boats just for that hatch cover.

Maybe check with the guy selling the front hatch on eBay... He might have a rear hatch as well?
