A couple of months ago I decided to get a couple of Sea Doos. Spent a a lot of time looking at this Forum and reading what everyone was talking about. Finally purchased two new GTI 90 HO SE Skis.
Picked them up last Saturday and yesterday got to run them for the first time.
Just as a point of reference, I have owned 5 other Two Stroke Sea Doos from back in the later 1990's up to 2003. A couple of them were used when I bought them and a couple were new.
Ran them for a little over two hours (respected break in rules) and so far seem pretty satisfied with the performance and operation.
The new IBR vs the earlier lever controls took a little getting figured out but seem to be pretty good. I liked the old system where you could modulate the lever and throttle to get a controlled speed for slowing and reversing. The new system just seems to have the slight delay when moving between F-N-R.
Can't wait to get thru the break in so I can give these things a good run.
Thanks for all the good info that you guys have posted helping me make my decision and I look forward to getting more info on operating and maintaining these Skis.
