K kstanhope New Member Aug 21, 2010 #1 i have a 2007 seadoo gti... an engine code came up p0118.. and i looked up the code and it says it mean engine temp sensor shorted to 12v or open circuit.. does that mean the sensor is bad???

Bills86e Premium Member Premium Member Aug 21, 2010 #2 Remove the sensor, test if continuity at threads and wire connector, if so, replace it. It only should engage at 203*.
