have an 06 rxt scic 215hp engine. ready to install head to block. cheap p.o.s. angle guage i bought does not work. can i just torque the headbolts to ?ft.lbs. and be ok? i see it should be 29ft.lbs +120deg+90deg.

You can get pretty close torquing the angles down by eyeball... get each bolt to the ft/lbs torque, then with your wrench 90 degrees to the engine pull it to parallel with the engine (ie turning it 90 degrees), then reposition back to 90 degrees to the engine and pull it a little less than half the distance to parallel with the engine... which should be about 120 degrees total. Then do another 90 degree pull and move on to the next head bolt. That's how I did mine anyhows.
