Having some issues 96' GTX

I've had my 96' gtx out like 9 times already, but it seems there's tons of vibration when you go past 6,000 rpm(s) and you have to throttle down and back up to get back to 6,000. Then there's another issue, water seems to be leaking out of the black circle piece on top of the waterbox.

Edit: Also, it smokes a lot when it goes to 7,000 rpm (and if feels like lack of power).

I'm not very familiar with jet ski's, so if someone could help me out, it would be awesome.

I would start by re-building the water control valve (the black thing on top of the waterbox). It probably has a hole in the bellows, but rather than repairing the bellows I would just replace it, they get weak over time. Nick Minnetonka4me should be able to help you with the parts.

The other problem, take a look at your RAVE valves, sound like they need cleaning. I clean my at least once every season.

Pull the drive shat and roll it on a nice flat surface. If it is bent, you will see it easily. If it is straight, then take a look at the pump bearings and the PTO area.
