Has anyone used the wear rings from SBT?

I'm getting ready to order a wear ring for my 2005 RXT. The SBT wear ring seems to be a better value than the OEM ring. Has anyone here used one and what was your experience with it?

Yes, I have, I'm on my third season, best wear ring I have ever used. When I serviced the pump last fall it showed almost no wear. You might want to wait for other replies other guys may not have the same opinion.

From all I have read, SBT had some issues with the wear rings they sold early on. Once they changed to what they sell now the issues seems to be resolved.

I think I'm going to go ahead and order it along with some spare spark plugs. Need a $75 order for free shipping.

Worst wear ring for the money. I got one that was so out of round the impeller didn't even fit in it. I'll stick with the OEM ones from the dealer. Less money too and last quite a bit as long as you don't suck up anything.

How long ago did you get the wear ring? Just trying to to see if it was from their "old" style or not.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it was last season. I had a streak of sucking up crap and destroyed about 3 of em last season and I wanna say that's when I ordered one from them. If not it was 2 seasons ago but most likely it was the last one.
