I know that SBT sells their brand for $36.99 that are junk. They are Chinese made kits that are not to Mikuni specs. Especially the rubber parts are too stiff and cause running problems.

Also the springs in any of the kits should not be used as they are the wrong tension for the Seadoo carbs.

It's a problem because the non OEM kits are a problem and cause issues. I just paid $136 shipped for dual genuine OEM kits with needle/seats for 787 carb, just received a message today they've been delivered. They cost more than the ones from SBT, but I've yet to have issues since the first rebuild last year. I"m only repeating a purchase again with what I know works.

I know of only a couple vendors that sell the genuine kits, bayareapowersports and OSD marine. SBT does not that I know of.

You may chase your tail keeping the non oem in those carbs. These skis are finicky on the carbs and only like the genuine oem kits. The extra cost is worth it.

Ok, I don’t mind spending the money. Guess I should have looked further. Looks like a rebuild is in store this week lol

All right.. who do you recommend I buy a mikuni rebuild kit from? And who should I have rebuild them. I don’t have any knowledge on doing it myself.

You can get them from amazon or ebay the exact part number is MK-BN38/44-SPR. You will also need needles and seats and I wouldn't be surprised if you need new springs now since most people do it wrong and use the springs from the kits.

For easy 1 stop shopping OSD seadoo has a "Back to OEM" kit that will include everything you need including carb gaskets.
