Hanging Sea Doo Seat

I'm sure plenty of people have an issue with space if they're keeping their ski in a one car garage. I do some woodworking in there as well so saving space becomes tricky. I wanted to know if anyone knew of a good way to hang their seat from the garage ceiling since there isn't really a good point to hook onto in order to suspend it. I'm thinking I need some kind of fork hook like for hold tools such as rakes or shovels. Any ideas or pics are appreciated.

I'm a little confused. Having the seat on the ski itself doesn't really take up any additional space.

If you want to hang the seat on the wall, where are you keeping the ski?

but ignoring that question, here's a simple solution... two l brackets and a piece of 4' x 2' plywood. $15 at home depot.

What I meant was if I have multiple projects going on in my garage I wouldn't exactly have room to just put the seat on my work bench if I needed to tinker in the engine compartment. A friend of mine hangs his to let it dry after he washes the ski.

How thick is the materiel on the bottom of the seat? Thick enough to thread hooks into it without any risk of the pointy ends damaging the seat cover when in use?

If so, thread in hooks and hang it on them. Or, use a line that goes through a hook on the ceiling and hook the seat to the line and pull it up out of the way.

what I always did was slide the ski onto the opposite footwell from the side i'm tinkering on, or tossed it on top of one of my storage bins.

What's wrong with setting the seat on the floor under the ski? As for "hanging" it to dry after spending too much time in water?...eh....stand it on end in the sun.

I've never hung a seat up.

Whatever you do, don't leave the seat leaning up against a wall facing down. The tips of the front are the weakest part, and can easily break.
