GTX RFI. What goes wrong when sits for four years without use?

I have a 99 GTX RFI that I have not run for four years. Tried to start and it will not start. Had a little gas in the tank for that time. What usually need to be done to fix?

I know on our ATVs and dirt bikes if they sit I have to clean the jets in the carburator. But I know nothing with fuel injection.

It could be a lot of things...replace the injectors, New battery, Spark Plugs, clean the fuel rail, clean the jet pump nose cone and replenish grease...ect. You might want a manual from our "Premium Member" section. It will have lots of things to do and check in the seadoo manual.

I am working through the problem. It is looking like the fuel pump is bad. Wish I knew a way to test.
