I have a 2013 GTX iS 260 Limited. Didn't use it for about 6 months and recently took it out. It idles fine but as you give it some accel, it'll misses a cylinder. It has 65 hours on it and about 50 on the plugs. I changed the plugs, still misfiring. Replaced the 3 coils, still misfiring. We babied it through a tank of gas and filled with fresh 93 octane, still misses. I'm now to the point where I don't wanna guess at parts. I fix cars and it acts like a failing coil but they're new. I took the injectors out and looked closely to see it there's any visible junk in the injector, looks clean. Injectors are expensive so I'm not replacing them unless I have to.
This ran perfect when we put it away last year so something happened from sitting. It sat in a garage covered during the winter. I did not put any treatment in the gas when we stopped using it.

Anybody run into something like this? Is there a way to pull codes without a dedicated tester?

4tecs idle pretty well on 2 cyls, what is your compression? can you do a leak down test? if good, find out which cyl is missing. you can pull the coil off while running to find which one is missing. switch coils to confirm whether it's the coil or the plug or the signal. I've seen new plugs intermittently misfire right out of the box at higher rpms.

It will show codes on the display if it has any active. You'll need BUDS or CanDoo to retrieve inactive codes.
