Thanks kicker, Honnestly yesterday I saw that bolt also and I was trying to figure where did it come from because I couldn't see anywhere where it was missing more. Its looks just like bolt on the motor head also. Yesterday I tried moving the motor and so, but everything seems to be fixed quite well. I've posted a picture and I'm wondering if the bolt should be there. Is there supposed to be a bolt there?

Also, could you tell me which type of greese I must put there and how exactly do you put it there?

Edit:

After looking at the manual, I don't think there should be a bolt in that hole. I've attached the manual image, but a confirmation would be great. Then I could start searching somewhere else, to identify where is that bolt supposed to be.

Grease, I think the service manual calls for a synthetic grease, I've always just used a marine grease, the same stuff I use in the trailer bearings. So use either a marine grease or a water proof grease.

LooDoo, the service manual says the following:

Lubricate PTO flywheel at grease fitting with synthetic grease (P/N 293 550 010).

Could you guys tell me if I add grease in the PTO flywheel does it go to the rubber boot?

Sorry but this is all new to me. I'm not a mechanic but I can get my hands dirty if I need to :)

Also, is there a trick on how to turn the drive shaft in order to see that hole and fill in the grease?

Also, do I need a special grease gun or adapter to full it up?

You just need a normal grease gun. There is a zerk fitting on the pto, just motor side of the boot. Turn the shaft and you will see it.

Also guys, If I understand correctly, there shouldn't be any transmission feeling when going from 0 to 40?

I'll try adding grease but I doubt grease would actually fix my issue.

Hey guys, I haven't checked the impeller's oil. Could that be a problem also?

Is there a guide that shows exactly how to remove the rear section (Youtube video or something).? Id like to look at the wear ring a bit closer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjil9OdfsL8 if the link does not work just google, Changing pump oil in vintage sea-doo part 1of 2

This will not fix your problem, but it is good to do every 50 hrs or anually anyways.

Thanks kicker, I was kinda looking for the same model but i'll keep looking.

I'll try to fill out the oil for the carbon seal, and see if that works out.

Hey guys, when removing the cone, I've been told there's an o-ring and it can be easy to break.

If I go easy, would you guys say I should be fine to reuse it?

Thanks

If the cone was installed properly you should not be able to reuse it.
When reinstalling the cone you need to put a small bead of loctite 518 around the top of the O ring. The loctite hardens over time and is hard to clean off the O ring without damaging it. S usually you need a new one.

If the O ring is clean and un compramised you can reuse it, be sure to use the 518 on it though.

I took my old o-ring to a NAPA store and they matched it up and I got a new one for a couple of bucks.
