gti 130 seats leak on engine

I have 2011 GTI 130 and when the seats get wet they drip salt water on the engine.
I think I am going to silicone the drain whole in the seats

Hi Eddie,
How did you go with this. I have an RXT 2011 with the same issue. End up with salt crystals all around the engine, it appears to be coming from the weep holes in the seat.
