GSX 98 runs lean around 3/8 throttle

Yeah i coulda swore someone talked about that a while back.

They are cheap to replace, and its free, no cost to bypass it for diagnosis of acceleration issue.

I thought he'd already bypassed it to the "normal" tank feed that's why i suggested using the "reserve" feed instead as the baffle could have a blockage

what you really should do is get an inline fuel filter and go direct from the carb to the tank baffle with a small inline filter in place, that will eliminate the selector and the separator from the circuit, try both the "normal" and "reserve" feeds...

if it does the same on the trailer you could even just go direct into a jerry can of fresh fuel to eliminate the baffle/tank

which if it continues leaves you with carbs and seals left to test

Yes bypass the selector valve. I actually remove them on all my skis.

This could very well be your problem. The get clogged quite often.

Tried to bypass the selector valve but no luck.

Pulled out the carbs again and found out that the accelerator pump did not work on pto as last time.

Ordered new carbs and problem SOLVED.

New carbs I had to replace a carbitraitor before . Just because you rebuild one doesn't mean you eliminated it from being bad . It could have a fracture in the body . Well done

Some times carbs are just done. I chased one for a few months. Rebuilt and checked whole fuel system. Turned out to be a bad carb and a few fuel leaks.
