Hi I’ve recently bought a 1999 gsx ltd jet ski as a non runner. The bloke b4 me had had the engine rebuilt after the rings went init, but never got it working properly after. After much playing around i found the ecu tobe faulty. I’ve now replaced the ecu and gave the carb a clean. The engine is now running really well out the water.
In the water I can only get 33mph out of it and the throttles not very responsive. The engine runs really well and doesn’t misfire or anything. The compression test is giving me about 100psi in each cylinder and the impeller doesn’t have any dings init.
Can any help me get my machine up to speed please ????
