Greetings,

I will be going to the Florida Keys and I'm sure I will get lost if I start exploring. What GPS units are PWC's using today? I assume some type of Garmin portable unit with a mounting scheme?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Bob

Thank you for the info, I assume I would need to buy a map for the keys? Also, I'm not sure what you mean by buying a glove box lid. I assume I would need to get some type of 2011 lid for my GTI?

Thanks again.

Thank you. Now I see how it works. Unfortunately they don't make one for a 2011 GTI 130.

Thanks again.

if you have an iphone no need to buy gps just waterproof clear bag or plastic box. i have been using that so far and works.

Thanks for the suggestion I assume Google maps? What address would you plug in?

I have never used a GPS on the water. On the road I use a Garmin NUVI which is incredible. In a car GPS gives you turn by turn instructions after putiing in an address. I have no idea what you do on the water. I also do not know what the maps look like that you can buy and download onto some of the Garmin units. I'm GPS illiterate when traveling on the water.

i just look at the starting point on the map and select current position, but you can buy ocean map apps for the iphone that set course etc.
