Got my XP! What should I put into it

I just bought a 97 xp. Trying to find out what aftermarket parts people would suggest putting on it. And also does anyone know where to get new vinyl decals? These look slightly worn out and I would like to replace them, all black if those are even available

Aftermarket parts are up to you. It depends on how much $$$ you have, and what you want to accomplish.

If you are looking for factory graphics... Don't. They have been discontinued for a while (hard to find) and they are expensive. A full set of OEM decals will run you $1000 or more. Your best bet is to go to a local sign shoppe, and have them do some graphics for you.

Remove all of the factory decals you have and spend some time doing a nice shine on the gel coat. Theres alot of 97 XP's out there with no decals and a custom seat cover and custom registration numbers. As far as mods, I see alot of aftermarket flame arrestors and exhaust pipes. It cost money to be faster.

I agree. Making small engined machines cost a LOT of money, and usually a LOT of time.
