What is the easiest to way to remove a gauge? I've noticed I can take (un sure of the name) the yellow thing apart and get to it, butI don't have a tool that will reach those bolts, so any suggestions on how to do this?

The gauges are just friction fit inside a rubber mount. Just push the from the back, they will come out the front.

You don't need to take it apart the upper compartment is removable and give u access to the gauges. You can push the gauges out from the inside compartment

Ok, is there some trick to it? I've been pushing and it isn't exactly to easy to apply any force with the way it is.

I've never really had a problem, try to wiggle the guage while you push, try some silocone spray between the rubber and the gauge, or you could try some heat, from a hair dryer.

I finally got it out, it was not friction fit. It has this big nut type thing I had to loosen and I finally got it loose and the gauge came right out. My next question is how do I get the plastic glass part of the gauge off?

So to add to this I been troubleshooting my gauges.
Speedometer needs 12v and a signal coming from the speed sensor to work. Fuel gauge draws its power from the speedometer by piggy backing from the speedometer, and the fuel gauge reads from the baffle ohms measurements. An open would suggest a short in the baffle fuse. To check use a ohms meter n test the baffle plug, and to check if the fuel gauge works short the cable where the baffle would plug into, it should cause the gauge to read as full
